Mindy Tan, a Singaporean documentary photographer, captures the essence of everyday life through her emotive lens, focusing on the stories of ordinary people.

She began her career as a newspaper journalist for breaking news, migrant labour and community issues, and won the Society of Publishers Asia Award for Excellence in Human Rights Reporting. In 2008, she switched roles to become a documentary photographer.

Today, using a journalistic approach, her photography assignments vary from lifestyle to sports, having covered like the Beijing Paralympics 2008, the Singapore F1 GP, and WTA Championships.

As a proud representative of Fujifilm, Mindy has immersed herself in the world of photography, spreading her passion through engaging workshops and talks across Singapore, Japan, and Germany. In 2019, she collaborated closely with Fujifilm to write and narrate the captivating 90-minute documentary, "Camera Punk." Out of a pool of 500 esteemed global ambassadors, Mindy was personally selected to spearhead this ambitious project, traveling to nine countries to capture the essence of camera culture worldwide.
