With the government’s Long Island project expected to take shape from the end of 2026, the familiar coastline of East Coast Park will gradually transform.

Join Derrick Ong for a cycling photography workshop along the length of East Coast Park. We’ll explore and photograph the shoreline, capturing the everyday moments, people, and lifestyle that have made East Coast Park a special part of Singapore’s identity, before the landscape changes.

Along the way, Derrick will share how to tell everyday stories through photography, using different lenses, perspectives, and framing to create a visual narrative of a place and its people.
